Laboratory safety training

LABORATORY SAFETY TRAINING

Safety training and the related assessment test are required in order to guarantee a safe access to the teaching laboratories and make the students aware of the hazards related to specific environments, activities and procedures.

The safety training takes place online through the study of educational material prepared by the University (link below) and includes:

  • General training- passing the test involves the issuing of a certificate that the student should print and use both for access to the teaching laboratories and for admission to the internship.
  • Part A - Chemical risk – if the student pass the test, he does not receive a certificate but only a feedback on the result at the end of the test.
  • Part B - Biological risk- if the student pass the test, he does not receive a certificate but only a feedback on the result at the end of the test.

Important → AFTER PERFORMING THE TESTS, STUDENTS MUST NOT CANCEL THE ENROLMENT FROM THE SAFETY AREA OTHERWISE TEST RESULTS CAN NO LONGER BE RECOVERED.

In order to take the courses and the final tests, please log in with your credentials (name.surname@studenti.unipd.it and password of your university account) at:

GENERAL TRAINING (4 hours)

CHEMICAL RISK (6 hours) and BIOLOGICAL RISK (2 hours)

Passing successfully the 3 tests (General Part - Part A - Chemical + Part B - Biological) is mandatory to access the teaching laboratories and the practicals.

NB: Previous security training certifications can not be accepted, therefore the student must take the 3 tests required.
